cee hope

c/hope helps youth who are or have been incarcerated at camp david gonzalez (”Camp g”).

C/ HOPE brings extensive academic courses and art workshops to incarcerated youth at Camp David Gonzales. Our staff of social workers and alumni peers nurture the youth upon their release, as they transition from incarceration into schools and careers, by connecting them with mental health services, housing assistance, tutoring, college or vocational program enrollment, and associated financial assistance so they have the tools to prosper. Sixty-three percent of active C/ HOPE participants are enrolled in college.

Youth Navigators are program alumni who have successfully completed the terms of their probation and are steadily moving forward with their educational and career goals. They act as peer counselors, especially to recent camp-released students, to support them in navigating re-entry, higher education, and employment paths.
