WOMEN'S FOSTER HOUSING

Rent-free housing for former foster women pursuing higher education

Coalition For Engaged Education and First Place for Youth have partnered with a philanthropic donor offering foster women spacious apartments in Santa Monica. 

​

All residents receive counseling and are offered monthly classes (financial management, cooking, childcare, arts programs, etc.) while working and/or attending college.

About the program:

  • Housing located in Santa Monica

  • Share a room with another participant in a 4-person unit. 

  • Two (2) years rent-free lease,if eligible

  • Single women only, no children

Eligibility for the program:

  • Must be part of our C/FORWARD program

  • Must be aged 18-25

  • Must be enrolled in a higher education program
